Udupi, Dec 26: Shree Lakshmee Homes and Infrastructures launched a new 2 BHK – 1000 square feet residential project ‘Hundred houses for you’ at Saraswathi Sabha Sadana at Udupi on December 23.
Proprietor’s mother Sathyavathi A Shenoy inaugurated the project in the presence of district-in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj, former MLA of Karkala constituency Gopal Bhandary, City Municipality Council president Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje and Urban Development Authority president Narasimha Murthy.
“Udupi and Manipal are fast developing cities and are the best destinations for investment. Compared to other city municipal corporations, Udupi has created many records and stood first in parameters such as cleanliness, education, health, maintenance of law and order and other development works,” said Madhwaraj.
“During the term of late V S Acharya, he dreamt to launch Swarna–II stage in Udupi. Hence, the government decided to bring water from Varahi dam. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is coming to Udupi in January to launch the Varahi to Udupi drinking water supply project, which is constructed at the cost of Rs 270 crores. “Providing regular water supply was one of the promises, I made during the elections and am happy that the project is taking shape.
“Another promise of providing electricity 24*7 has been fulfilled and buses under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) are already functioning in the district. I have heard from senior citizens that Udupi is the best destination for spending retirement. Udupi is getting the highest rainfall of 4500 mm. It is known to be the highest populated district. We have got highest buying capacity. There is a huge potential for real estate and if builders provide quality and best service, clients will definitely come to take its benefit.
“The proprietor Amrith Shenoy said he is initiating four projects in different places with all advanced infrastructure. The projects are located at - Volga, Convent Road in Udupi, Shree Ganesh residency at Santhekatte Kallianpur (Semi deluxe- Rs 32 lakhs), Aashiyana at Indiranagar (Economic- Rs 23 lakhs) and Gokulam at Korangrapady near NH 66.
Independent houses as per requirement of customers at reasonable prices will be constructed. Customers can avail discounted price benefits if they book by paying a token advance, he said.
