Mangaluru: Medical student kills herself in hostel room

Mangaluru, Dec 27: A girl student of a city-based private medical college ended her life in her hostel room when no one was around. The incident happened on Tuesday December 26.

The deceased was Ambika (22). She was a native of Yedabettu village near Sastan in Udupi district. She hanged herself in her hostel room.

Ambika was a final year MBBS student. No plausible reasons for her decision to kill herself could be found. Kadri police, who registered a case, have begun investigation.
