Mangaluru: Theft at Mudipu mobile store - accused arrested

Mangaluru, Dec 27: Police personnel of Konaje police station have succeeded in arresting two persons accused of their involvement in a theft from a store at Mudipu that deals in cellphones.

The arrested men have been identified as Ziad (19) and Muhammed Ashraf alias Irfan (19) from Talekki in Vorkady village.

The duo has been accused of breaking into Srikrishna Communications, a store selling cellphones and stealing things from there on the night of November 3 this year.
Besides arresting them from Balepuni village, the police also seized some mobile phone sets and a motor bike from their possession.

On being produced in the court, they were remanded to two weeks judicial custody.
