Stuttgart sign Dortmund's Larsen on loan

Berlin, Jan 25 (IANS): Newly promoted Stuttgart have signed Dortmund's youngster Jacob Bruun Larsen with immediate effect, both Bundesliga clubs confirmed.

The 19-year-old talent, who received the jersey no. 34, will reinforce Stuttgart's midfield after putting pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season, reports Xinhua news agency.

"We have been in talks with Dortmund regarding a loan deal with Jacob Bruun Larsen for quite some time. Jacob is fast and dangerous in front of the goal. He brings all the qualities and the mentality to be a promising option for our game," Stuttgart's sporting director Michael Reschke said.

Larsen is talented youngster who plays for Dortmund's youth teams since 2015. He made overall 74 appearances and earned his first call up into the senior squad in 2016 when he was part of the starting eleven against Union Berlin in the German Cup.

"I have heard a lot of positive things about Stuttgart thus I am looking forward of being part of this team," Stuttgart's loanee Larsen told the club's official homepage.
