Kasargod, Feb 5: The principal city court here, through a verdict passed on Saturday February 4, ordered payment of Rs 41.30 lac to the kin of Abdul Nassar N A, resident of CTM Valappu on Nellikunje mosque road. Abdul had lost his life in a road accident.
Abdul Nasaar and his son, Muhammed Naufal, were moving in a motor bike on October 14, 2014, when a private bus had hit their vehicle at Seetangoli town. Abdul Nassar had died on the spot, while his son, Naufal, had suffered serious injuries. Wife and children of Abdul Nassar had thereafter approached the court seeking compensation.
