Puttur, Feb 6: Nemanna Gowda (55), residing at Kapinabagilu in Kaukrady village near Nelyady in the taluk committed suicide by hanging himself in the bathroom of his residence on Monday February 5.
Nemanna Gowda, son of Dugganna Gowda, native of Bayalu Basti, Beejadadi in Neriya village, had shifted his residence and started living with his mother at the house of his brother at Kaukrady village since the last four years. He was unmarried. He suffered from ailments related to heart, low blood pressure etc.
No one other than Nemanna's mother was at home when Nemanna chose to kill himself. In a report filed at Uppinangady police station, Nemanna's brother suspected that Nemanna would have chosen to end his life out of frustration about his health condition.
