Bengaluru: MP Pratap Simha fined for riding without helmet

Bengaluru, Mar 30: The traffic police recently fined Mysuru MP Pratap Simha for riding without helmet along with daughter.

Simha had posted a picture of himself riding bike (KA09 HN5999) along with daughter on Twitter on March 18. A Bengaluru resident noticed it and filed an online complaint that the MP had violated traffic norm by riding without helmet on 'Public Eye' app of Bengaluru traffic police.

 


On March 19, the MP was fined Rs 100 by the traffic police and shared the information on social media of the same.

R Hitendra additional commissioner of police - traffic, Bengaluru city said that there is a separate team to find and penalize traffic offenders. However he had no information on MP being fined for traffic violation.

    This is out of law. Because helmet rule applicable only those who are
    having head. But this guy is not having head at all......
