Mangaluru, Apr 7: Maria D’Sa took charge as the vice-president of Congress’ Dakshina Kannada minority cell on Friday, April 6.

The responsibility was assigned to Maria by N S Kareem, district minority president of Congress committee in the presence of minister of Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader and MLA J R Lobo.

Maria is married to Robert D’Souza and belongs to parish of St Sebastian Church, Permannur. She resides at Adam Kuduru, opposite St Sebastian Government School, Jeppinamoguru.
