Mangaluru, May 8: Karnataka Bank has appointed Raghavendra Bhat as the chief executive officer of the bank.
Bhat is backed by 37 years of experience in the fields of administration and operation. He has worked in departments like advances, information technology, risk management, RBS, human resources management, industrial relations etc. He also worked as chief general manager of the bank from May 2017 to April 30, 2018.
Bhat is a commerce graduate and certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He is an alumni of Milagres College, Kallianpur. Chairman of the bank, P Jayaram Bhat, congratulated Bhat on his elevation in the presence of general managers of the bank and officers.
