Kasargod, May 10: Ashish William (42), son of Prasad from Kannur Chirakkal, was murdered near the new bus stand at Alamipalli, Kanhangad, on Wednesday May 9. The incident happened at around 5.30 pm.
In this connection, the police have arrested Dinesh from Nileshwar Pudukai.
It is said that the root cause for the murder was an argument which broke out between the two in a bar at Alamipalli, Kanhangad. As per the complaint, Ashish, who was sitting in the verandah of an under-construction building was hit on the head with a brick.
Ashish, who suffered serious injuries on account of this, was taken to a private hospital but his life could not be saved. The police also took into custody two others who were with the deceased at the time, for questioning.
