New Delhi, Sep 12: The Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday opposed the bail application of Rajkumar, an accused in the sensational Noida double murder case, saying investigations against him were continuing.
The bail application of another accused Krishna, compounder of Dr Rajesh Talwar, father of slain teenager Aarushi, was also moved in the designated CBI court by his counsel R K Anand and F C Sharma.
The arguments on this application would be heard in the afternoon.
While Rajkumar's counsel contended that there was no evidence against his client, the CBI informed the court that it had telephonic records suggesting that the accused was constantly in touch with Hemraj, the murdered domestic help of the Talwars.
Both Aarushi and Hemraj were killed on the intervening night of May 15-16.
The case was transferred to the CBI on May 31.
The CBI also said that since Rajkumar, arrested on June 27, was a Nepalese citizen, he could manage to flee the country and also try to destroy evidence against him if released on bail.
