Karkala, Jun 20: A person driving a car died after his car hit a roadside tree. The incident occurred at Murathangady in Sanoor villalge on national highway from the town passing through Moodbidri on the evening of Monday June 18.
The deceased was Lokanath Rai. The car, which was moving towards the town from the direction of Moodbidri suddenly went wayward and hit a tree, it is gathered.
Car driver, Lokanath Rai, had sustained serious injuries in the accident. He was being taken to the government hospital here when his end came.
