Bengaluru, Jun 29: A day after returning from his fortnight-long nature cure detoxification treatment at Shantivana in Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, former Karnataka Chief Minister and Chairman of the JD(S)-Congress Coordination panel Siddaramaiah has clarified that he was not unhappy about the HD Kumaramswamy regime as was being projected and asserted that there was no doubt about the stability of the government.

Breaking his silence on the controversy over video leaks that purportedly showed his remarks on the fresh budget and longevity of the government, Siddaramaiah termed video-graphing of a casual talk and making it public as "unethical".

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru on Friday after the Coordination panel’s meeting to discuss the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) of the coalition government, he said the coalition government is formed to keep the "communal" BJP away from the power.

"The coalition government is stable and nobody can destabilise it," he declared.

Deputy Chief Minister and KPCC President Dr G Parameshwara had on Thursday warned Ministers endorsing the reported comments made by leaders against the party and the coalition government.

Dr Parameshwara and Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar too said that the coaltiion government would complete five years in office.

Earlier, Siddaramaiah and Ministers met at the party office and discussed the Common Minimum Programme (CMP).

Leaders have given several suggestions on the CMP.

Reacting to questions on his unhappiness on the functioning of the present government and opposition to the full-fledged budget to be tabled by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on July 5, Siddaramaiah termed videos as "unethical" and said his comments released to TV channels had no clarity.

Dr Parameshwara said the coordination panel headed by Siddaramaiah would meet on Sunday and finalise the CMP.

On the question of farm loan wavier, the Deputy Chief Minister said "there is no official data on the amount of loans borrowed by farmers. We come to the conclusion on the farm loan and total amount after the coordination panel meeting on Sunday."
