    Mr Sampath.

Being a Christian I want to make one thing very clear. Christian institutions & churches don't accept crores of rupees and gold ornaments crowns and other gold ornaments like it is done in Tirupathi and many other temples.

But Christian organisations run orphanages, leprosy centres and carry out many other social welfare activities for the poor and the downtrodden.

And moreover, what about the booty accumulated in one of the temples in Tiru.. (something in Kerala). This became national news about a decade ago. Tons an tons of gold items are kept. It could be well used to erase the poverty off the face of this whole country, leave alone flood affected states.

So please don't tell us what Christian organisations do and don't do.
