Udupi, Oct 3: “I have never neglected the feelings of party workers. I have sincerely performed the responsibilities entrusted to me by the party. I am always supporting just wellbeing of the activists,” said Udupi district in-charge minister Dr Jayamala.

She was addressing party activists in Udupi Block Congress meeting at Congress Bhavan, Brahmagiri on Tuesday evening, October 2.



“I have obtained information every minute about violence against party activists during Bharath Bandh from district party leaders and taken suitable action within the purview of law to extend help. There is no need for party workers to get confused in this connection. I am working sincerely so that nobody can question my loyalty to the party,” said the minister.

“Party activists should work with dedication to strengthen the party. Internal matters of the party should be discussed in party platform. Open discussion is not suitable,” she said.

Former minister Pramod Madhwaraj said that Dr Jayamala is working in excellent way pro people as district in charge minister. District Congress president Janardhan Thonse, Udupi Block president Sathish Ameen, presidents and office bearers of different frontline units were present.
