Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada gets light rainfall

Mangaluru, Oct 3: On Tuesday October 2 many places in Dakshina Kannada district experienced light rainfall.

The meteorological department has predicted that rains will return to Karnataka coast because of low pressure area which will get formed from October 6 onward in Arabian Sea.

The department has predicted that low pressure area which will be formed in the southeast direction inside the sea is expected to move toward northwest direction within 48 hours. There is a likelihood of the low pressure area giving rise to cyclone, it stated.
