Moodbidiri: 52-year-old man loses life in drunken brawl

Moodbidiri, Oct 3: A 52-year-old man lost his life here in a drunken brawl on Tuesday, October 2, at Shirtady in Moodbidiri.

Deceased has been identified as Shekar Poojary (52), a resident of Shirtady.

It is said that on October 2, Shekar Poojary and Jaya Madivala both were drunk and fought with each other. Shekar Poojary suffered serious injuries to his neck and hands and lost his life. Jaya Madivala too was injured in the scuffle.

A case has been registered at Moodbidiri police station.
