Moodbidri, Oct 4: A person ended his life by hanging himself in a dilapidated, deserted house near his home. The incident happened on Tuesday October 2.
This incident was reported from Bailabari within Beluvai gram panchayat limits. The victim has been identified as Babu (34) from Bailabari.
Babu, who was unmarried, had gone missing all of a sudden on Monday. The family members, after searching for him, had registered a missing complaint at the police station. The family continued with efforts to locate their missing kin even thereafter.
Babu's mortal remains were found hanging from a noose inside a desolate house near the family's residence on Tuesday October 2.
No reasons could be immediately attributed to the man's decision to kill himself. The rural police here have begun investigation into this unnatural death.
