Bengaluru: Japanese township to come up in Vasantha Narasapur

Bengaluru, Oct 4: Deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwara said that Karnataka will develop a Japanese township in Vasantha Narasapur in Tumakuru, where an industrial zone is being constructed.

The deputy chief minister met with Takayuki Kitagawa, Consul General, Consulate of Japan at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Thursday.

He said it has been a plan to develop a Japanese township, since many years.

The land acquisition in Vasantha Narasapur is under process, he informed.

He invited the Consul General to take part in a meeting, to be held in two days, with regard to providing infrastructure in Vasantha Narasapur.
