Brahmavar, Oct 5: Two persons, identified as Anil Kulal (32) and Bahskar Kulal, became victims of an accident on Thursday October 4. The accident happened at Mundkinajaddu in Cherkady near here. Both Anil and Bhaskar were from Alunje.

The accident happened when a bus hit the two-wheeler on which the above two were seated. The bus in question was moving towards Hebri from Brahmavar, while the scooty was bound for Alunje, when both of them collided with each other. After the bus hit the scooty, both the persons suffered grievous injuries. Although they were rushed to hospital immediately, their lives could not be saved.

Anil Kulal has left behind his wife and a 45-day-old baby girl. Bhaskar is survived by wife and a son. Both Anil and Bhaskar were close relatives. They were returning home after attending to masonry work at Hebri.

Anil normally travelled around on his Bajaj Pulsar motor bike. On Thursday, he took his scooty to the workplace instead. There is speculation that heavy rain in the region was one of the reasons for this accident.

Brahmavar police visited the spot and registered a case of unnatural death.
