Mangaluru, Oct 25: Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, a branch of the prestigious Father Muller Charitable Institutions here, will organise the 23rd annual national homeopathic conference ‘Decennium’ on October 27 and 28 at Father Muller Convention Center.

Addressing media here on Thursday October 25, Principal, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Dr Shivaprasad K said, "Honorable member of board of governors Homeopathy ministry of Ayush New Delhi, Dr N L Tiwari will be the chief guest; honorable vice chancellor Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation Salem Tamil Nadu, Prof Dr P K Sudhir; will be the guest of honor and director Father Muller Charitable Institutions Fr Richard Coelho will preside over the function.

"The scientific session spread over two days will have Dr Tapas Kumar Kundu, Professor and HOD of department of medicine, Motiwala Homeopathic Medical College, Nashik as main speaker. On the second day there will be three sessions and the first session will be taken by Dr B Anantharaman, alumnus 1991 BHMS batch, who is a homeopathic consultant and counseling psychologist at Aarudraa Homeopathic Health Care Centre and Aarudraa Homoeopathic Specialty Centre, Chennai. The second session will be taken over by Dr Divya Kumar Verma, alumnus, MD 2005 batch, Government Homoeopathic Medical Officer Rajasthan and the third session will be taken by Dr Reju Kareem, alumnus, 2000 BHMS batch, director insight health care, Homoeopathic Multi Specialty and Counseling Centre, Thrissur.

"There will be a national level quiz competition for the interns and IV BHMS students during the conference with cash prize worth Rs 30,000."

Assistant administrator Fr Sylvester Lobo, vice principal Dr ESJ Prabhu, organizing secretary Dr G Rajachandra and audio–visual and media committee chairperson Sowmini M were present.
