Mangaluru: Hi-Flyers Skating Club bags 100 medals

Mangaluru, Oct 31: Speed Roller Skating District Selection Trials & Championship 2018-19 was held at Francis Doris Skate City on October 27 and 28.

Dr Y Bharath Shetty, MLA Mangaluru North was the chief guest and he inaugurated the event.

The club won 77 medals in the above 8 years age group and 23 medals in the below 8 years age group.

A total of 52 Gold, 26 Silver, 22 bronze medals has been achieved by the club.

As many as 37 skaters above 8 years category and 15 skaters below 8 years category participated.



A total of 22 skaters from above 8 years group have been qualified to the state level selection trials to be held at Mysuru in the month of November.

Medalists have been trained under the guidance of Coach Mohandas and Jayaraj.
