Shivamogga: Margin of B Y Raghavendra small as less people voted – Eshwarappa

Daijiworld Media Network – Shivamogga (EP)

Shivamogga, Nov 6: BJP senior leader K S Eshwarappa said that the winning margin for B Y Raghavendra is less because lesser number of people came to vote.

Speaking to news reporters, he said that ruling party has distributed large sums of money. “The win is the success of activists and voters. People in Shivamogga have cast their votes with the desire that Narendra Modi should be successful through this win.”

“Among five constituencies where by elections were held the team of all the ministers and leaders of coalition government had come here. They tried their best to defeat BJP. They misused money, religion and power. Those did not work in Shivamogga,” he said.

“The win is for the hard work of activists and efforts during house visits. There is support for Modi here since the beginning. It has won seven seats out of eight in Vidhan Sabha elections here. The voters had shown that they will support BJP in Lok Sabha elections also. BJP’s win is remarkable,” he said.

“JDS and Congress are like snake and mongoose who rarely meet. They had come here to somehow save the government. The chief minister should consider that there is a government in the state and work,” he said.

“Congress and JDS had not worked together in Ballary Lok Sabha constituency and not spent such huge sum. Siddaramaiah, Devegowda, Kumaraswamy and Shivakumar had not become one in the past. They do not have the intention to do well for the country. They have come together to preserve their identity.”
