Mangaluru: Harish Bantwal elected as president of Karnataka Journalist Union, DK committee

Mangaluru, Nov 6: Harish Bantwal is elected as the president of Dakshina Kannada district committee of Karnataka Journalist Union.

The election of office bearers for the committee was held on Tuesday, November 5 at Hotel Woodlands in the city.

The other office bearers who were elected include Tharanath Gatty Kapikad and Laxman Kunder as vice-presidents. Ramesh S Perla as chief secretary, Jyotiprakash Punacha as treasurer, A Gopal Anchan and Eshwar Varanasi as joint secretaries.

Ramesh Neerabidire, Padmanabha Mundakaje, Satish Hoddetti, Giridhar Shetty, Jarappa Poojary Belalu and Santhosh Kumar Shantinagar are elected as the members of the executive council of the committe.
