Mangaluru: Employees of Sai Security hold protest

Mangaluru, Nov 20: More than 50 employees protested in front of Sai Security office situated near Jyothi Circle with a demand of immediate clearance of wages which is pending from many months.

Under the leadership of CITU, security workers, working for Wenlock Hospital under the contract of Sai Security, gathered in front of the firm’s office and started to raise slogans against the management.

As per sources, the firm has stopped giving wages to workers from few months. Many have been sacked from their jobs for demanding their salaries. Many a times, the workers requested to pay at least half of their pay at the end of month. But giving various reasons, the management has been postponing the monthly pay to its staff.



The protesters have said that the protest would continue until they receive their wages and some workers who were sacked by management are reappointed.
