Dharwad, Nov 22: Mugada railway station in Dharwad has become popular in the country by being a model railway station. Union minister of railways, Piyush Goyal has inserted the pictures of the railway station in his twitter handle and stated that all should follow its example.
Its 10 km long tracks are painted red and white. A beautiful garden with Lilly, Rose and Kakada flowers can be seen in the railway station.
Even though the station between Dharwad and Alnavar is quite small, it has made the country look at it with its specialties. Seating facilities, toilets, rest rooms and other basic facilities are provided. It also has electronic clock and LED lighting. Cleanliness has been given importance.
Flower plants are grown inside the station also.
