Kasargod: Child accidentally falls into boiling water, loses life

Kasargod, Nov 24: A two-year-old child accidentally fell into a utensil containing boiling water and breathed its last. The incident happened on Friday November 23 at Bandadka Chamakochi.

The toddler who met this ghastly death was Cyriac, son of George and Neetu. The mother had kept a utensil filled with boiling water inside the bathroom, before moving to the well to bring cold water to mix it with hot water for bathing the child. The child, in the brief absence of the mother, fell into the boiling water.

It suffered severe burn injuries. Although the child was rushed to a hospital at Mangaluru, its life could not be saved.

    Very sad news. My heartfelt condolence to the family. All mothers should be extra careful and should not leave any hot things in the reach of child. In case any hot thing is in the kitchen or bath room, doors should be closed properly so that children should not go there. i share the grievance of this family. May God bless them with sufficient strength to bear the grief and compensate them in a fair way.

    Mothers should be extra careful with their kids until the age of five,a careful mother would in this case bring the cold water and keep it ready and then carry the hot water to the bath,accidents can b avoided with carefulness,so mothers please dont give ur children a painful death,please dont leave dangerous objects,hot oil,hot water,medicines,knife scissors,needles,nails etc carelessly.
