Udupi: Center should present Ram Mandir bill during winter session, says BD convener K R Sunil

Udupi, Nov 27: K R Sunil, convener of Bajrang Dal, southern province, said that central government should introduce a bill with respect to the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, which is a symbol of the self-respect of Hindus.

Sunil was speaking at the press conference on Monday November 26 at New Yatri Nivas of Sri Krishna Math, that was organized as a prelude to the Janagraha meeting that is going to take place on December 2 by VHP urging the construction of Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.

"Sri Rama's Mandir should be constructed at Ayodhya. Hindus, who are waiting eagerly since many years, have received a setbak in the law. Central government has to take special care in this regard. This issue needs to be discussed during the winter session of the parliament. This time around, the voice for Ram has spread at all the places in the country. We are holding Janagraha meeting to mount pressure on the central government," added Sunil.

Giving the details of the Janagraha meeting Sunil said, "On December 2 at 4 pm, at the vehicle parking space of Shri Krishna Math in the city, a mammoth public meeting will be held by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), urging the construction of Sri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya. Raghavalu, joint secreatary of All India Vishwa Hindu Parishad will deliver the keynote address. Vidyadheesh Swamiji of Paryaya Palimar Math will also participate in this meeting. More than 25,000 devotees are expected to take part in this programme. In addition, sages and saints, religious leaders, eminent people of various temples and Bhajana Mandals, people representatives and devotees of Ram will also partake in the meeting."

Pramod Shetty, secreatary, VHP, Dinesh Mendon, convener, Bajrang Dal and Sudhir Nitte, district joint convener were present.
