‘Laudato Si’ celebrated by ICYM Bantwal unit

Bantwal, Nov 27: ICYM Bantwal Unit along with the whole church community undertook a unique programme called ‘Laudato Si’ on November 25.

This was initiated in the Mangaluru diocese by Bishop Dr Peter Paul Saldanha by paying reverence to the words of Pope Francis towards conservation of nature.

Fr Walter Dmello, parish priest of Bantwal church distributed a sapling each to all the ward heads and also leaflets containing information about the ‘Laudato si’movement.



The ward heads were instructed to plant the saplings and look after it under the slogan 'Protection of environment is our duty'.
