Vijayapura: Man murders son-in-law at daughter's funeral

Vijayapura, Nov 27: Kajal (20) belonging to Kilarahatti village near Babaleshwara in the district had ended life by immolating herself on Monday, November 26.

Kalal had been married to Raju Tambe (23) from a nearby village about 18 months back. Her marital relationship was not smooth, it is said,as a result of which the couple often fought among themselves. Kajal poured kerosene on herself on Monday morning and then ignited fire, which killed her.

Kajal's father was livid as he was dead sure that his son-in-law was the cause for his dear daughter's death. In the evening, funeral of Kajal was arranged at the village. Raju Tambe attended the funeral. The father who got angry at the sight of his son-in-law, picked up a firewood that had been piled for the funeral pyre, and repeatedly clobbered Raju Tambe till be dropped dead, it is said.

    What a sad end of this young couple !Daughter must have confined to her father about the problems she was facing.He must have got so emotional about his daughters body ,couldnt control his feeling and made him fury and hit him.It was not at all good what he had done.Now he will be charged with mord ,and end up in jail.Girl poured petrol over herself and got ignated,or her husband had to do anything with it is not sure.Father couldhave instead first cleared the fact before taking justice self in hand.may the souls rest in peace,and heartfelt sympathy to the family.
