Kasargod: Young man gets thrown from moving train, dies

Kasargod, Nov 28: A young man died after getting thrown out from running train near Bekal late night on Monday, November 26.

The deceased has been identified as Thrissur resident Mohammed Ali (24). He was employed as a web designer in Mumbai. The incident took place when he was returning to Mumbai after visiting his home town. He had married to Mumbai based Tahira a year ago and was returning to Mumbai with wife after celebrating his wedding anniversary.

Mohammed Ali had got thrown out from Netravati train when the train was passing through the Kalnad tunnel near Bekal. His wife who was shocked with his disappearance informed co passengers and the police. His body was found after search by Kasargod police who were informed. The body was taken to Kasargod general hospital. Tahira, who came from Mangaluru, identified the body. It is suspected that he fell losing balance when he went to bring water.

His relatives in Mumbai and Trissur were informed about the incident. The body was handed over after post-mortem to the relatives. Bekal police registered a case.
