Mumbai: Saphalya Seva Sangha celebrates platinum jubilee

Mumbai, Dec 27: Saphalya Seva Sangha celebrated its platinum jubilee at Radhabhai T Bhandary auditorium, Kurla east on Tuesday December 25.

President of the sangha, Srinivas P Safalya welcomed everyone and said that the sangha that has grown big in the years has given shelter to the community.

Social workers Raghuveer Attavar and Shashikala Raghuveer, Vasu Putran and Shankuntala, Sadananda Safaliga and Mallika Sadanand couple and international sportsperson Tanvi Jagadish were felicitated on the occasion. Similarly Vamana S Safalya, R C Mulki, Sukanya Kamaladevi, Rekha D Mooliyanna, Giriyappa Karkera, Ullalthi gurikar Suresh Koppal, Rajesh Gurikara, Bhandaraguthu Tulasidas, heads of Safaliga community and representatives of different groups were honored.

Members and children performed Tulunada Vaibhava, fashion show of traditional attires, Bollywood retro dance and entertainment programme. Youth wing artistes performed ‘Satya Gottanaga’ Tulu drama and Natya Nilaya of Mangaluru Ullal presented classical dances. Expert artistes presented Raga Sangama Rasamanjari programme in the direction of Ganesh Ermal and Kiran Safaliga.



Children sang a prayer song. Vice president Krishna Kumar Bangera, honorary chief secretary Anusooya Kellaputhige, honorary treasurer Bhasker Saphaliga and youth wing president Ravikanth Saphaliga presented flower bouquets to the guests.

Ruthika Srinivas, Damayanthi Salian, Anusooya Kellaputhige, Harshad Ameen, Bhasker Safaliga and Divya Safaliga introduced the felicities. Professor Arun Ullal introduced the guests and compered the programme. Honorary chief secretary Anusooya Kellaputhige proposed the vote of thanks.
