NBA star Iguodala fined $25,000


New York, Jan 1 (IANS): Golden State Warriors guard Andre Iguodala has been fined $25,000 for throwing the ball into the stands during a National Basketball Association (NBA) game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The fine relating to Saturday's game was announced by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations of the NBA on Monday, reports Efe.

The incident caused Iguodala to receive a technical foul and was later ejected after completing the regulation time of the second half of the game, in which the Warriors beat the Trail Blazers 115-105 at the Moda Centre in Portland, Oregon.
