Udupi: District in-charge minister Dr Jayamala inaugurates 13 completed projects worth Rs 7.5 crore

Udupi, Jan 25: District in-charge minister Dr Jayamala inaugurated 13 different projects that were completed at a cost of Rs 7.5 crores from the grant that was released in the third phase for the development of the city under the limits of city municipality.

Speaking after the inaguration, Jayamala said, "Udupi district is famous for culture and education. Compared to other districts of the state, Udupi has got good road facility. The people of this district are intelligent and because they question their representatives repeatedly, the representatives are bound to bring the grant from the government and as a result the works are done quickly. If this attitude of the public spreads to all parts of the state, then it is possible to get expected development everywhere."



MLA Raghupati Bhat, former minister Pramod Madhwaraj, deputy commissioner Priyanka Mary Francis, Arun Prabha, director of department of city development of the district, Anand Kallolikar, municipal commissioner, Ganesh, engineer of city municipality and former president of city municipality Meenakshi Madhava Bannanje were present on the occasion.
