Mumbai, Feb 6: Gopalakrishna Public Trust in association with BSKB Association, Gokula held a festival of devotion to Purandaradasa in Ashraya here on February 4.
Pooja committee member Subhaschandra Rao and Chandrashekar Bhat in the attire of Purandaradasa brought the portrait of Purandaradasa in procession along with dances and singing to the auditorium and installed it in the decorated podium.
Gokula Bhajana Mandali, Bala Kalavrinda, Harikrishna Bhajana Mandali and Sri Krishna Bhajana mandali sang Kannada and Marathi Abhang.
Balalaya priest Krishnaprasad Kedilaya offered Maha Mangalarathi to the deity and distributed theertha prasada to the devotees.
