Mumbai unit of Mulki Vijaya College old students association holds get-together

Mumbai, Feb 25: The Mumbai unit of Vijaya College old students association held a get-together for 2019 at Peninsula Grand Hotel auditorium, Sakinaka on Saturday night, February 23.

Old student’s association Mumbai unit president Anand Shetty chaired the programme. Bantara Sangha’s S M Shetty educational institute president CA Shanker Shetty, Bunts Sangha Mumbai former president Karnire Vishwanath Shetty, S M Shetty educational institute’s Shirva Nithyananda Hegde and Vijaya College Mulki governing council president Suhas Hegde Nandalike were on the dais as guests of honor.

Executive committee members Laxmish Rao, Rathnaker Salian, advisory committee members and old students offered tributes to the departed teachers, students and classmates. Shirva Nithyananda Hegde and Rathna Umanath Shetty sang songs. Amitha Jathin group performed dances. Shashidhar Bangera compered the cultural programme.



Chitra Gangesh Shetty sang a prayer song. CA Somanath Kunder welcomed the gathering and gave an introductory address. Vice president Vasudev M Salian, CA Kishore Kumar Suvarna, Dinesh C Salian and CA Rohitaksha introduced the felicities. Treasurer Ashok Devadiga outlined details of the previous year’s accounts. Harish Hejmady introduced the guests and compered the programme. Secretary, advocate Shekar S Bhandary read the previous year’s report and proposed the vote of thanks.
