Mumbai: Thonse Seva Trust celebrates tenth anniversary

Mumbai, Mar 5: Thonse Sri Brahma Baidarkala Pancha Doomavathi Garodi Seva Trust here celebrated its tenth anniversary on Sunday March 3.

Krishna Palace group managing director Krishna Y Shetty, chief guest inaugurated the programme after lighting the lamp. Chief orator Harish Hejmady spoke about the life history of legendary Koti Chennaya.

Garodi Seva Samiti Mumbai president Nithyananda D Kotian chaired the programme. Social worker, entrepreneur Avenue group’s Raghuram K Shetty, Dr Gilbert D’Souza, Jayakrishna A Shetty, Billavara Association Mumbai president Chandrashekar S Poojary were the guests of honour. Entrepreneur H Babu Poojary released tenth anniversary souvenir ‘Kanchil’.



Saimayi Arun Kotian sang Ganesh Vandane. Rekha R Kallianpur sang a prayer song. Nithyananda Kotian welcomed the gathering and delivered an introductory address.

Garodi seva samiti Mumbai vice president D B Ameen, celebration committee honorary secretary Vittal S Poojary and Taranath Kallianpur introduced the guests.

The office bearers presented mementos and flower bouquets to the guests. Sachin Poojary compered the cultural programme.

Anniversary celebration committee president Vishwanath Thonse compered the hall programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
