Ranchi, Mar 8: Spirited Indian Cricket team led by Virat Kohli steps into the ground this afternoon along with his 11-man army wearing army cap when they play third One-day International match against Australia on Friday.

BCCI in its tweet said that "#TeamIndia will be sporting camouflage caps today as a mark of tribute to the loss of lives in Pulwama terror attack and the armed forces. And to encourage countrymen to donate to the National Defence Fund for taking care of the education of the dependents of the martyrs #JaiHind"

Immediately after winning the toss and electing to field, captain Kohli said that cricketers will donate today's match fees to the Defence Fund on account of players' tribute to Pulwama attack that killed more than 40 Indian soldiers on February 14.  He urged all citizens to follow the same gesture within their respective capacity.

Earlier, MS Dhoni had the honour of handing over the army cap to Indian players.

India, already taken 2-0 lead in this ODI series is just one match away from clinching five-match series by 3-0 at the fomer captain, and dashing cricketer MS Dhoni's home turf Ranchi.
