Mumbai: Maiden Konkani retreat held in Nashik

Mumbai, Mar 27: Lent is a time of spiritual renewal and grace and it was made possible through a Konkani retreat. It was for the first time in the city of Nashik that such a spiritual event was possible. The Jesuit community of the Holy Cross Church along with the members of the Konkani Association made this spiritual experience possible for all people.

The main retreat preacher was Fr. Anil Kiran Fernandes, SVD of Divine Call Center, Mulky, Mangaluru. The retreat was organised for two days i.e. March 23 between 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm and on March 24 between 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Fr Anil Kiran Fernandes preached on the topics on deliverance from the bondage of sin, fear, lust, greed, spiritual bondage and five keys to be in Christ.



During the praise and worship and adoration, many were touched by the Lord. The retreat was heart touching and transforming. The crowd of nearby 400 plus faithful from all the parishes attended.
