Mumbai, Apr 10: The ‘Rangeela’ fame Urmila Matondkar has once again turned heads not with her new blockbuster, but by launching her first rally as Congress candidate on March 9 in Charkop, Kandivli West.

She was officially inducted into the party after meeting with Rahul Gandhi on March 27 and filing her nominations for Lok Sabha polls for the fourth phase in Maharashtra.

She has been contributing actively since she joined the fold. She was spotted supporting women riders at a bike rally for Gudi Padwa. In Andheri she held a youth meet with Patidar leader Hardik Patel.

She shared pictures of her Charkop rally on Instagram and captioned it 'The power of democracy lies within these people and it can never be taken away. Thank you to my well wishers of Charkop, Kandivali West'.

This rally witnessed a huge crowd in Charkop that welcomed her as their new upcoming leader.
