Udupi, Aug 9: Deputy commissioner Hephsibha Rani and district superintendent of police Nisha James visited the house of deceased Ganga Marakalthi, resident of Cherkady who died, when the mud wall of the cow shed at her house collapsed on her Thursday, August 8 in the morning while she was milking a cow.
DC and SP examined the house and condoled the family members. DC Hephsiba instructed Brahmavar tashildar Kiran to sanction government fund under natural calamity.
The DC also expressed her concern on old houses and delicate cow sheds in the village. :Let them repair it immediately as precautionary measure,” she suggested.
