Mangaluru, Aug 9: Members of Kapikad ward, Derebail along with the ward leader, Edward Coelho recently held a ward meeting at the residence of Letitia D'Souza (Terry Pais), 'Ssands Blare'.
After the meeting, the ward members got together to savour various dishes prepared as part of 'Pausa Gammath' celebration in the ward. Around 15 dishes were served.
Parish priest Fr Austin Peres, Fr Gratian Alvares, Sr Anna Maria Superior and Sr Valsa John were present.
Fr Austin invoked blessings on the food. Letitia D'Souza sang a few old songs. Terry Pais welcomed the gathering. Sylvester D'Cunha presented the vote of thanks. All the participants enjoyed the food.
The celebration came to a close with Lau Da Te.
The parish priest Fr Austin Peres blessed all the ward members and their families. Indeed, the celebration was a grand success.
