Mangaluru: IACDE 2nd south zonal conference held at TMA Pai International Convention Centre

Mangaluru, Aug 10: The Indian Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics second south zonal conference 2019 (zone 4) hosted by the Association of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of Karnataka was inaugurated on August 9 at TMA Pai International Convention Centre, here by the Chancellor of Nitte (deemed to be university), N Vinaya Hegde.

Rajkiran Rai, managing director and CEO of Union Bank of India was chief guest.

Dr Girish Parmar, president IACDE presided over the function.

Dr Thimappa Hegde, director Neurosciences, Narayana Health delivered the oration lecture.

Dr Mohan Bhuvaneswaran, honorary general secretary of IACDE and Dr Roopa Nadig, president of ACE-Karnataka conveyed their greetings. The official publication of ACE-Karnataka, Journal of Aesthetics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics was released in the session. The ACE-Karnataka Lifetime Achievement was bestowed to Dr Sreenivasa Murthy for his distinctive contribution to the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. Dr Mithra N Hegde, secretary, ACE-Karnataka, chairperson, organizing committee welcomed the gathering. Dr Kundabala M, secretary, organizing committee proposed the vote of thanks.

The conference was attended by 600 registered participants comprising of postgraduate students, academicians and clinicians.
