Kundapur, Aug 13: Santosh Shetty (44) from Arekallu House in Heskattoor village committed suicide.
Shetty, who was employed at Bengaluru, had come home at 6 pm on August 9. He had left home after lunch on August 11. As he did not return for long, the family members were concerned. They began to search for him and found that he had ended his life in a thicket near his house by hanging himself from a tree.
Santosh Shetty was running a hotel at Bengaluru in the past. His brother, Satish Shetty, said in a report filed with the police that his brother was facing financial distress as he did not have a regular job.
