Advani ends Five-day Visit to Kodagu on Happy Note

Madikeri, Jun 29: Opposition leader in the Lok Sabha and BJP national leader L K Advani left Kodagu on the morning of Sunday June 28 after spending five days at the Orange County Resort near Siddapur. He arrived at the restaurant run by the Resort owner Rampur Kuttappan and had break fast with his family members.

Advani was in a relaxed mood, had Idli, sandwiches and malt in the morning before signing autographs for the fans. He and his family members paid respects to the people congregated to see them off. On behalf of the district administration, deputy commissioner Ashwath Narayan Gowda and sub-divisional officer Akran Pasha offered flower bouquets to Advani.

Speaking to reporters at the entry point to the Resort, Advani said he was rejuvenated with the stay here and wanted the place to get more fame so that more and more people would be able to enjoy this scenic region. He apologized for the inconveniences if any his visit would have caused for the people of the district. He said the memories of his stay here will linger long in his memory.

MLA Appachu Ranjan and district BJP president M P Sunil Subramani touched the feet of Advani couple and sought their blessings. At around 9.30 am, Advani and his family left to Ramanagar in two cars.
