Mangalore: Freston Knowledge Foundation Inaugurated

Mangalore, Jul 16: “Education and knowledge are not limited to earning a degree or certificate. It must become an individual’s ability to handle life,” said Dr Fr Pius F Pinto, Managing Trustee, Matha Kripa.



He was speaking after inaugurating Freston Knowledge Foundation at Matha Kripa, Kinnikambala here, recently. A memorandum of understanding was also entered into between the managing trustees of Freston Knowledge Foundation and Matha Kripa on the occasion.
 
Dr P G Aquinas, director MSNM Besant Institute of P G studies, Mangalore was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said not to stop doing the good work just because there have been no results as yet.

Freston Knowledge Foundation is a charitable trust working for education development and training. The foundation before its inception has already laid a strong foundation in adult education through a weekly series called Persona for the past two years which has helped nearly 200 participants. The theme of the trust is ‘Education is progress’ wherein it is believed that only through continuous learning, progress is possible. ‘If it is to be it is up to me’ is the motto of the series.
