Mangalore, Jul 16: The nuns of the Cloistered Carmel Convent, Kankanady, celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Carmel here on Thursday July 16.
City-based Infant Jesus Shrine superior Carmelite Fr George Santhumayer offered the festive Eucharistic Mass at their Sacred Heart chapel, on Thursday evening along with Jesuit priests Fr Rony Prabhu, Fr Denis Rasquinha, and Fr William.
A large number of devotees attended the festive Mass. The scapular and novena books of Our Lady of Carmel were also distributed to the devotees on the occasion.
