Mangalore, Jul 29: James Praveen Kumar has been appointed as organizing secretary of Dakshina Kannada District Congress Minority unit, stated unit president B A Moideen Bava.
James Praveen Kumar is an active member of Congress party since 17 years and has contributed significantly for the success of party candidates, in the last Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections. He is also serving as member of Church of South India (CSI), Sushanti Sabha, Mercara Hill, member of Karnataka South Regional Council and CSI Karnataka Inter-diocese Board Committee and general secretary of Protestant Christian Welfare Association (PEOCHWA).
He is also the district president of Indian Dental Technologist Association and member of Rotary Club (Mangalore South). James was recommended to the post by District Congress Committee vice-president Ivan D’Souza, stated a press release issued by DCC.
