Daijiworld Media Network - Mysore (SP)

Mysore, Aug 11: Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa warned the voters that they will continue to suffer from bitter experiences, as long as they do not make up their mind to elect the candidate fielded by the BJP. Addressing various electioneering meetings organized on Monday August 10, at places like Aldoor, Navilur, Ganaganur, Kuder, Bennur, Ummattor, Santemaranahalli etc., in Kollegal constituency, he asked them to elect the BJP if they want development works to be conducted in their constituency.

Expressing his displeasure at the pathetic condition of the roads in these villages, he said, electing the BJP candidate would be advantageous to them, as the MLA would be in the ruling party and therefore, in a better position to get the works done. He told them that the BJP government has envisioned several programmes to develop Chamarajanagar constituency, which will be realized only if the BJP candidate becomes victorious.

Explaining the programmes specifically meant for the women, he told that his government is the only one to have shown so much concern for their welfare. While explaining to them that the state government would not be affected by the victory or defeat of the BJP candidate, he claimed, that the people will stand to benefit if the BJP candidate is elected.

Ministers Halappa, Krishna Palemar, BJP candidate Nanjundaswami, Housing Board chairman G T Deve Gowda and Warehousing Corporation chairman Mahadev accompanied the Chief Minister during his election tour.

Someone can file PIL saying ''coercion''. Everyone is free to vote to the candidate they like. CM, being in power using threat as a measure to collect votes, is surely against Code of Conduct during elections. Dear CM, how insecure can you get. If indeed you are providing good rule to the state, people will vote for you and your party. What you seem to be saying "we are bad so unable to get votes, hence "

Why doesn’t election commission take action against Yediurappa for blackmailing the people? Then why the election is required? People can choose BJP candidates and save money in the treasury that can be looted by Yeddi and his gang.

Mr Sudhir/mangalore, Thanks for your compliments. I always write truth and sometimes truth is bitter and doesnt suit readers perspective, hence the difference. Here the sensibility is that no party should be communual and must be inclusive and work for the state and country with equality of treament and social justice. Then only it makes sense or else its biased and invites opponents and critics. Thats the fact and reality of our democracy.

Mr. Yeddy is clearly trying to blackmai by stating that if BJP candidate is not elected no development will be given prominence. What is this we dont have a right to choose our leader. Is there no law to deal against this statement, there must be something.

Let him send some people with guns so that they can hold it on people''s heads while voting so that they vote for BJP. Very disgusting from a state head, What if the P.M. says fund''s will not be realeased if you vote for BJP. This man is unfit to be a C.M.

Vote for congress and remove him from power then only we can bring him to justice by probing his ill deed''s.

If BJP distances itself from harldine Hidutva and communual agenda, no doubt its a good party. Whatever the party rules karnataka, we look forward for development, social equality, justice and peace and secuirty. The interest of karnataka is supreme than any party or individual interest.
