Mangalore: Another Accused in Subba Rao Murder Case Arrested


Mangalore, Aug 21, DHNS: One more accused in the builder Subba Rao murder case has been arrested by the police. The accused has been identified as Shabeer (26), a resident of Jokatte. 

Informing the same to media persons, Superintendent of Police Dr A Subrahmanyeshwara Rao said that a Special Squad led by Mangalore Rural Police Sub Inspector Prakash arrested the accused in Mysore. A 9 mm pistol and three live rounds have also been seized from him.

The police had already arrested three persons in connection with the murder case. With the arrest of Shabeer and seizing of pistol, a missing link has been established. The live rounds will be matched with those found at the spot on July 30, 2007, the day Subba Rao, owner of Mayura Builders and Developers in the city, was murdered.
